Chudnow Co2 Regulator

 

 

Turn off Co2 at the tank. Turn the Adjusting Set Screw counter clock-wise until it is completely loose. Remove regulator from the Co2 tank, making sure that all pressure has been released. Place an adjustable flat jaw wrench over the black bonnet and turn counter Clock-wise. Remove the Bonnet Slowly so not loose the parts inside. The Core Valve is located in the brass regulator body. There are slots on each side of the core center pin for removing counter clock-wise. When removing, be careful to watch for the spring below the Core Valve so it does not get lost. Remove the core, and replace the new core in its place. Stop turning the new Core Valve as soon as it seats. Replace the diaphragm in the same location. Reassemble the bonnet and Do Not tighten adjusting screw. Reattach the regulator to the Co2 tank and turn on. Slowly turn the adjusting screw just until it starts to get tight. Raise the pressure slowly to your set pressure.
